Mosaic of Action Poster Design Guildlines

Poster Opportunity

As part of the upcoming Celebration, we are asking anyone working on a project in Troy promoting sustainability and community well-being to contribute a poster about your project.

This poster will be used in several ways to support you in building awareness for your cause, and recruiting participants and collaborations as needed:

  • All posters will be displayed as a prominent focus of the celebration on April 11th, 2015 in Russell Sage’s Bush Memorial Hall.
  • They will later be adapted into a booklet directory of grassroots action and opportunities for involvement which will be distributed throughout the Capital District.
  • We will also display the posters at other events and locations throughout Troy

 

Design Guidelines

Posters should be vibrant and engaging. They can express your core mission, future goals, show everyone what you’re up to. These posters will form a visual mosaic of action happening throughout Troy. Don’t forget to include contact information for people interested in getting involved.

Posters will be printed 11×17 inches for the Celebration.

Because posters will be adapted for a smaller booklet, keep in mind that fonts will need to scale well. We are also interested in blowing up posters to a much larger size to continue highlighting opportunities for involvement throughout Troy. After the Celebration, there will be time for editing poster design for both future sizes. 11×17 is what’s needed now as the clock is ticking.

Submissions:

All poster designs should be sent to celebrate@xtroy.org by April 9th, 2015.

PDF is preferred but we can print almost any file format. Please use a share service such as Dropbox or Google Drive if file size exceeds 25mb.

You will get confirmation that your poster meets required specifications within 48 hours of submission.  The sooner you can email us your design, the better!
